Intereststs; Meditation/Spiritual Life

i have noticed in my meditations that i often struggle with focus verses tension. Without focus the mind wanders and restlessness is the outcome. The body may b pliable yet after spending time 'tryng' to focus there may come periods of tension. The body 'wants' to get up and do something. Perhaps it may b that the body does need appeasement to some degree; rather then a tug of war to 'force' what cannot b forced. i believe this is why meditations often go better at the beach, near a stream, at a park or in the woods etc.....or other natural setting (for me). This is because if the weather is comfortable and there r no pests to bite u.... u can get up move around.... do some walking meditation, swim, practice hatha yoga, maha mudras, energization etc. At home it is helpful to take a shower. It seems to relax me.
