Living most of my life in Texas, and feeling little to nothing in common with the "regional interests" of right wing politics, football/sports-in-general, mega churches, big trucks (not the kind needed to deliver goods, but the kind which are high off the road for more "ego reasons" usually"), etc.
Being from a place, but not feeling "of" it certainly has given me a great interest in the rest of the world, and one day I would like to travel to see more of it and meet more people from different areas.
Actually, Italy is one of the few places I have visited outside the country (as well as England and Mexico), and I found it to be a very beautiful place, and not at all what I think I expected from stereotypes in media. So much space and beauty, and much more relaxed, laid-back feeling from most people... far more so than anything I have experienced anywhere else actually.
Art; You are still welcome here in water wonderland. Remember; Amma is here in November. If you have challenges with your foot we could get a wheel chair.
