Qoute from mccoy;

"Steve, I've Always been an Italian Citizen although sure not very much into the Italian culture and stereotype. I despise soccer and I cannot eat spaghetti. I cannot stand  Italian music but I like Jazz music. I detest Ferrari cars and all extravagant luxuries. I cannot stand fashion, in this aspect I am an admirer of Mao Tse Tung: everyone had his crumpled coverall. No exceptions. Or maybe naga sadhus: you go naked, that's enough of a dress. I'm also a huge fan of Gandhi and his dothi dress."

Sometimes being able to see the prejudices and conformity of our own culture gives us the ability to have a more cosmopolitan view of our world and helps us find friends around the world.

Living most of my life in Texas, and feeling little to nothing in common with the "regional interests" of right wing politics, football/sports-in-general, mega churches, big trucks (not the kind needed to deliver goods, but the kind which are high off the road for more "ego reasons" usually"), etc.

Being from a place, but not feeling "of" it certainly has given me a great interest in the rest of the world, and one day I would like to travel to see more of it and meet more people from different areas.

Actually, Italy is one of the few places I have visited outside the country (as well as England and Mexico), and I found it to be a very beautiful place, and not at all what I think I expected from stereotypes in media.  So much space and beauty, and much more relaxed, laid-back feeling from most people... far more so than anything I have experienced anywhere else actually.

Art; You are still welcome here in water wonderland.  Remember; Amma is here in November. If you have challenges with your foot we could get a wheel chair.
