There is a little dualism in that approach karma yoga although it is good. Speaking at least for myself, It's even better to take up the thought that "I am not actually doing anything" or constantly ask "Who is this doer?". The mind can still thrive in service when the server sees himself as separate from those being served or has a strong sense of doership as someone really busy doing something. One gets it in the mind that, "Oh, I am such a good boy." In the eyes of an awakened being there are no others, and one serves only one's Self. God doesn't just maintain the cosmos, he also acts your role as well - although you think it is "you". Because you are That, which has taken on a limitation ("you").

I remember reading a story about Neem Karoli Baba, who was watching as people were eating Prasad. He turned to Dada, his devotee, and said, "Look Dada, I am eating through all of those mouths."
