Altered States and Prayer

When we practice some higher forms of meditation and use those techniques effectively our prayers become more deeper and less distracted. i found today after practicing some of the 2nd Kriyas i was able to concentrate much better on my prayers for others, at the exclusion of other thoughts. This is because my consciousness felt a sense of bliss at a certain level, it was easier to pray. i still feel the afterglow of that meditation and have no other words but what I have offered here.
