One of the ways we fall on the spiritual path is by not fully realizing the impact of those who come in our life. We often have a difficulty disentangling ourselves from those who are pulling us down and we do not always fully realize the benefits we are receiving from those who are helping us.

We do have a choice in who we hang around with. Yet we often continue to keep ourselves in the presence of those who are not helping us but our in fact hindering our spiritual progress and our spiritual evolution.

This wisdom has come to me by personal experience and my observation of those around me. The influence of saintly people and spiritual friends here on the forum and elsewhere can not be estimated.
