I couldn't get through all that text, but I can't agree with those who say that sex is only for procreation. That seems almost blasphemous. Sex is sacred, a form of worship, a celebration of love and intimacy. That's why it should not be abused or handled cheaply. Not because of some Puritan concepts. The concept of sinfulness associated with sex produces perverse attitudes deep in the mind. Sex does bring strong attachment with is its trap. But when honored and respected, sexuality is spiritual. That's my take.
Plus humans and I think dolphins are said to be the only ones who enjoy sex. I think sex should be spiritualized through love and intimacy and mutual appreciation. Of course one should not make it an end in itself, but a springboard into spiritual awareness.
I would like to see a sacred sexuality section on the forum; but then I'm aleeady too lazy to read them all now.
