Never thought I'd see you around so much here! Happy to have you here and your contributions. Just wish you would share a bit more about your life experiences. Wonder if you are still living in the northwest? Are you subscribing to the SRF lessons? I have the notion you are an SRF student like myself. Is that correct?

OK well I'll share a life experience on another thread. Isn't it funny how we want to know these things about others? Sometimes when you find out something, it changes your opinion, shouldn't, but it does sometimes.

Still in NW? Always been here my whole life in Oregon, west of Portland. Been to a few other states, CA, WA, MT, ID, PA, NJ, I think that's it. Would like to see maybe east Maui, some Scandinavian countries, Himalayas, Pyramids, well I could go on I suppose.

Yes I do receive the SRF lessons, haven't been to our local SRF center though, I don't feel attracted to it for some reason, maybe curious is all. I guess I don't do so well with organizational type groups, it throws different lights on it.

AND I just went over 100 posts, which means I am now labeled a "full" member.

Full in what way?

Do I get a prize?

You are funny   Grin

This is not something I put in the forum. It was one of those things that was in the forum before our creative touch was included. I suppose I should see if there is some way to get rid of it. It is rather foolish. However; Personally i am very grateful to have someone get so involved in such a short period. Then to have similar interests as well. Thanks for your time, support and contributions spiritimage. I was happy to have your last post above so we could get more acquainted. I wonder what SRF lessons you are currently on and reading.

Steve

Well what can I say, I'm on a mission. To quote Harrison, "I'm not coming back here [earth]". My mission is to go straight past astral, causal, straight home. That's where my spirit came from, and that's where it's going.

I just completed the entire Part I. Waiting for the first lesson for Part II.

I have gone over all of them a few times, but the Gita seems to draw me in a bit more.

I believe the Gita is from a higher period then Islam and Chritianity. At least the bronze age but possibly the silver age. Similarly Buddhism is from a higher era. Perhaps this is one important reason I click with the writings and stories of Krishna and Buddha.... they don't have as much darkness mixed in and they openly speak of for instance reincarnation and meditation.

People occupy us with Christianity so much in our culture that we cannot find time to explore other religions. I find that very sad. When u start talking about spirituality most people here in the united clones of america can only talk about one religion. This is true of the Arab nations as well--One religion. Is it any wonder or startling fact we have difficulty getting along with each other? There is this refusal to acknowledge others or just have nothing to say about them. Such is the power of social conditioning.

I don't think one is higher or lower. Don't think it matters really. It's all in the interpretation. And your own intuition & ability to uncover truths hidden in scriptures.

How's your spiritual routine and meditation coming along?

Twice a day ~30 minutes each time, I haven't been able to meditate for an hour at one time though, for many reasons. Kriya is where the energy flows though. Also taking a break on the exercises for about 1 1/2 months now. The slothy holidays did it to me.
