i have an incredible love for avocado. When they are cheaper i buy them up. i was trying to figure out what it was in my body that craves them when i am hungry. i read this article and it all started to make sense.

Avocado Sesame Tahini Drink. Mixing a half an avocado and a tablespoon or more of Tahini Butter together in a blender with honey to suit the taste and milk or soy milk to liquify yields a wonderful healthy drink! That Tahini butter is loaded with Protien, Iron and Calcium. Avocado is a wonderful alkaline fruit.

Steve, avocado is excellent, it also must be the fruit with less carbs, so even for those who are insulin resistant it is not fattening on theh contrary helps to loose weight.

Loose weight? That's a new one on me. Sure like them though... especially on sandwiches and in salads.

They help you to loose weight in the context of a low-carb diet. I'm experimenting it on my wife. The carbohydrates content in avocados is very low, 2% in weight. They also have an high satiety index, an estimate of how filling they are to the average person.

I realized that today there are some new ideas about nutrition. The fact that healthy fats (avocados, nuts, olive oil) do not make you gain weight is one of such revolutionary ideas.

10 grams of  fiber in a medium sized avocado. Beats eating beans all the time!

Avacados are god sent!  They really are quite magical and a great addition to your diet.

Would you? Could you eat them with a mouse or in a house? Would you eat them with a fox in a box? Would you eat them in a car... here they are. Would you, could you with a goat. Would you, could you in a train or in the rain? Would you like them here, there or anywhere?

Actually, there has been a mouse in my house, which made a lot of noise at night. I must have eaten some avocados before I was successful in getting rid of it.
To tell the truth there have been quite a few mice in my hise, I don't know if as many avocadis.
