i met a psychic monk by the name cau chin. he gave me a reading and told me i had some anger issues and told me my lucky number was 8 and that i'd meet my soul mate in this life. a lot of it is true while there were other things i didn't really care for. what i felt was most significant from the reading was the emotional response i had. during the reading i kept my knee touching his knee. he was saying things really fast and letting his hands play with a deck of cards. he would then quickly tell me what major things would happen as i got older(he would shuffle the cards and say, 17,18,19 20 kinda skimming each year of my life), like a car accident in my 20's. he told me my grandma was next to me during the reading(she's dead). as i became attuned to his fast but gentle speaking- just near the end of our read i started to cry.
maybe it was because i wanted something to happen.

after he gave the reading to my friend and i he had his apprentice get in my car and direct us to a temple to receive blessing/pray and drink holy water. he tied a red string around our wrist then gave us each a bottle of water and told us to take a sip from it once every day for seven days.
