I remember Turiyananda telling me about his experience in the swiss alps. he went out once on a hike and it started getting dark. It gets cold at nite in the swiss alps and he had lost his way. He prayed to god and said: If  there is anything you need me to do this life time your going to have to help. he felt a hand pushing him in a certain direction. Going in that direction he found his way out.
