hi steve!
my daughter is cleaning the small idol of balgopal(little krishna).
It is a day of worship with bhajans of krishna till midnight.
Surdas had written some very good ones.
He was a great devotee of krishna, he was blind and once he fell in a dry well.
he started asking for help from krishna.
A villager passed by and rescued him. He caught his hand and didn't let him go.
the villager forcibly freed himself. And surdas said" you are getting away from me knowing well that I am weak. I will
call you strong only if you can get out of my heart".
