● When Paramahansa Yogananda first came to the U.S. he performed many miracles. Most people thought it was a unique form of entertainment. But few returned for further spiritual instruction. God could also oblige in this way but he knows they would not give love towards him. It would not turn their love towards him.

● We are given the yamas /niyamas and the 10 commandments so that we do not suffer. But as soon as we hear the word commandments we want to rebel. They should have been called guidelines to perfect happiness then we would be more interested.

● This is God's entertainment. He wants us to be entertained also so we shouldn't take it too seriously. A grand daughter asked how her grandmother felt. Her grandmother said 'I feel good'. Then she replied: 'Then why don't you change your face?'
