●sometimes we are discouraged; we don't seem to get anywhere. As child we cry for so many things but we aren't crying for God.

●devotion is it on the screening for personal cause. Our definition of devotion is to get in touch with God.

● Paramahansa Yogananda said that he would be with us more when he left the earth plain bevause his body would not be in the way.

● A man had been meditating faithfully everyday in his practice  He didn't seem to have any progress. One day he took his wife out to get groceries He was waiting in the car and felt this joy come upon him and the joy continued. He thought: This is the effects of the meditation.

● Devotion makes us conscious that God is with us.

● How can you love something you haven't experienced? Just wanting to love God is a loving God

●  Why are you upset because God does not show himself. Think of the long time you have ignored him.

●  Sometimes we hear that the Indian religion worships idols. Yet if someone is dwelling on material objects they are worshipping idols. If somenone is meditating on a stone and sees God in that stone: God accepts it.

● If a child picks up a little rock and gives it to his mother and says: mom look what I found, the mother accepts it graciously and takes it. In the same way if we offer something that appears small to God he accepts it as an act of  devotion.

● Do we claim our status as a child of God?  Talking to God should be like talking to a friend.  Don't beg and think yourself as a sinner.

● Look in the mirror and say: I love you and accept you.  I am a child of God.

To be continued....

● If we could just accept the fact that we are OK

● Practicing devotion for God is Bhakti. That is everyrhing you do you are giving to God.

● Brother Bhaktananda was a Master at practicing the presense of God.
He said that he began feeling sad and enpty if he stopped chanting. He repeated and started feeling good. He was chanting internally "I love you Master. I love you." Paramahansa Yogananda was nearby talking with someone. When he was done he came over to Brother Bhaktananda and said;"I love you too!". Brother said he was 'surprised that he answered me openly'. Bhaktananda said that he had his mind always on the heart accept when he did the meditation techniques. He would visualize his heart as having a mouth and broadcasting love calls to God and Guru.
