Scott and I have made this journey several years now. We can't see each other in the physical like we could when we lived in Michigan. He now lives in Tennessee and I in Southern California.
So we kind of turn off most of the world and put ourselves in the presence of Amma totally.
Also in the quiet of nature. We have memories that transcend time and space and will probably bring us together and has brought us together for incarnations.

When two people can't see each other for quite a long time it only seems natural not to dilute the time spent. These memories live with us like an old friend and  remind us just how life can be very good to us. thinking back on the time brings us in the presence of Amma again and all the spiritual blessings associated with her. The peace and interiorizing after affects of nature
give you a moment's pause in the mad rush of life to sift through the most important things.
and nourish the soul. That presence you carry on with you in your daily activities of service in life. They transform you so that you are able to encounter life with whole different perspective.

However getting back to technology. we could never bring this many people back together so much if it weren't for new forms of communication. But this too is just a development along the way. it won't be long before people will be using meditative intuition and telepathic communication as a norm. Then in even higher ages we will be able to communicate thru the satellite of our heart chakra.
