I remember your mentioning the possibility of having a temple in Danapur and that Krishna and Rama lived and were born
close to your domicile. Krishna was born in Mathura in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Is that the state you live in? I meet many
people from India here in the states. Many come from Punjab.
I have had more hope of getting in the mind and heart of God after having more understanding of the yugas or ages of humanity. In the higher golden age, most of humanity will know the divine plan they are to follow. In the current bronze or
Dwapara yuga most of us think we are free. Perhaps we are free from despots as seen in previous generations. Yet most of humanity has a long way to go to find freedom in a spiritual sense. Liberation and spiritual freedom are terms we get from
Buddhism Hinduism and the East.
The concept of freedom and democracy have their origins here in the west and is the cause of many of our wars. My understanding is that in Europe many people laugh about Americans because of our constant fear of having freedom taken away. Freedom is great. Not the freedom to do as we wish as many westerners believe but rather the freedom to do as we should and God intended. This is freedom from misery.
Small pokets of civilization will always rise above their time in every age. Jesus and his disciples were far ahead of their time
in the dark era of the kali yuga that they are still even misunderstood in this age.
those of us who meditate regularly recognize the spiritual influence of India and its heritage
of spewing out saints who have thrust the world forward. Even Christ studied there in his 'lost years'.
