I was once with a woman for years and she wanted me to be a certain way to her so I was...we separated not because of infidelity but because we came to an impasse and could not agree on certain key issues. It happens you know...people cross paths for a time and then find they have out grown each other or that they could no longer satisfy one another. Many of these relationships are changed irrespective of our own interests and perspective and views about them.

So far the issue of control appears to be a recurring theme in some of your relationships. I believe that until we are able to release certain elements of ourselves in relationships that they will manifest over and over regardless of their significance. We all would like to control our destiny and will our future but it just does not work out with people who find their differences with us even though we may easily see that the similarities far outweigh those differences.

I believe that perhaps more applicable then control is the use of persuasion. We may see or think we see a better way for those around us but they are not receptive to us and leave us out of their lives as a result.

Well Eric in the interim time that you wrote your post and I have been adding to this one suddenly several events came up that mirrored group activity at a soul connection. Yea Reflections and mirrors in romance and friendship that seem to be a theme with several of us at the same time. As if someone or some beings have been working on us like a flock of seagulls that seem to stick together.
