For the most part: Friends in Michigan seemed to have lost interest in the projects we were planning and at the sametime friends are expressing an interest in coming out here. At one time i actually thought about moving back there. (Guess that will have to be on the backburner). Then we could have met there. However i do not think it is good to chase after the past when it seems to be brushing me aside and taking a life of its own that doesn't have a lot to do with me. We often make our decision based on what options are available to us.

Several friends have started to make plans for coming out here this year. i think Namaste2All is planning on coming out here in June. i look so forward to his vibration and strengthening our friendship. i think we will see Amma> God Willing. He showed me such a wonderful time in Tennessee. i will always keep it in me heart for lifes unforgettables. Serene has showed me a side of California that i have never been exposed to. There r also some brite plans with others that r not on the forum but also are spiritual seekers.

So perhaps i will write a thread on California and some places to visit
if someone were to take a trip here. Hope it is taken in the rite spirit because i have found beauty in many other parts of the country as well and i can only imagine the wonderful places to go in India or any other country for that matter. I had a wonderful time in Texas not so far from where Eric lives. and.... i could write a small book on the Michigan and the midwest!

Sorry to hear they lost interest in that maybe you can shift that and meet here in the summer or fall! It's beautiful here in Wisconsin in the fall with the leaves changing colors there is a lot to do here on the lakes!

I've always wanted to go to California, Hollywood, LA, or San Fran! Hopefully if i get a good settlement i will be able to travel but not expecting to this year maybe in the fall or next year!

Country wise i been to Canada, Mexico and The Bahamas! I loved Mexico but not to crazy on The Bahamas! I always wanted to go to London England, Australia, Egypt and a few others those are on the top of my list!! I also would like to go back to Canada too only been to Thunder Bay and loved it!!

Hollywood is just quite a bit different than walking in towns in the midwest. You see many men holding men's hands, women holding womens hands, three people kissing each other, people in outlandish dress n' styles. People r not afraid to express their different lifestyles in California and u see very little judgement like u do in the midwest... heckling derogatory shouts etc. People express with no reserve. i do not really walk the streets there but it is because i always know where i am going. i make a bee-line drive to the Hollywood SRF Temple on the corner of Sunset and Edgemont right next to the huge Scientology building. Brother Bhaktananda used to speak there when i was there in the late 70's. Spence and i went there to meditate for three hours a couple of days ago and then went for a fresh squeezed mango pineapple juice drink at about 11 P.M. at a restaurant. U can get vegetarian food at most restaurants. None of the hunting for food that i experience in other parts of the country.

i have gone with many friends to the Griffith Observatory. It is in the Hollywood Hills and can be seen all lit up at nite. There r trails that go up from the observatory into the hills and u can see all the lites and the City of Los Angeles below. All the lites from the city seem surrealistic and they glow like a fire-waves of what seems to be unreal to the senses. There r many places to sit and meditate looking over the vast area below and u can also see the star shows in the observatory.

People go to Hollywood to see the latest entertainment and movies. Serena is more involved into the entertainment scene and could tell u more than i about that.

There is the Bodhi Tree Book Store in Hollywood which is one of the largest esoteric book stores in the world. i also like going to Master Yogananda's crypt which is a hop, skip and jump from Hollywood. i was healed there. The Masters' vibrations are strong and result in special meditations. Michael Jackson is also just down the hall in the same mausoleum at Forest Lawn. There r various art exhibits there as well. Many times you see many people there dressed in clothes, gloves etc. like Michael. It is like a death cult. But i know they are showing their love. The billboards are imposing and bigger than life. They r advertising all the latest movies and fashions.

So i thought i would start out with Hollywood. It is very crowded on the weekends and traffic is slow.
i appreciate so much your inviting me to Wisconsin. i suppose it would b a trip in itself. Sounds like i would find a lot to do in nature there. God willing i am sure we will work something out.

Hey those are some of my hang outs! Forget Missouri. There are nothing like the dumpsters in California!
That's where i attained samadhi/enlightenment. The frequencies totally zoned me out! I was in a dumpster
at a Zen monastery when i chompt into a one of their left over zen egg roles and then zoom and  i made my great exit.
i will soon come out with the ultimate book 'The Zen Art of Dumpster Enlightenment'.

Dear Comet it really makes a difference when someone says they want to get together .
I will try my best to work it out with you. If i came out there i would have to fly. Do you have
airports nearby? What is the largest one?  Would you be interested in seeing Amma near the
bottom of your state or would you rather meet where you live? We could also see each other
here in the Golden State. Appreciate your thoughts.

It seems you have done a lot of traveling in your life. I look forward to meeting you in person. I wonder where you traveled to
in Mexico and what it is that fascinates you about Egypt: the pyramids? Australia is a country that is mostly on the ocean.
The interior is not settled accept by abarigines.¿habla esponol?

I haven't lost my interest in this planet and places to visit. It is just that there is such a vast area wthin us. So much to
explore. I would rather develop those inner dimensions rather than spending so much money and energy to explore our earth.
Someday we will be able to astral project to any locality.Our belief in our own abilities limits our capacity to travel out of
our bodies. I am working on that one!
