OM and the OM technique

It interests me. In this age of communication we are bombarded by music of all sorts. But it is possible to not be musically inclined but still hear the music of the spheres. Perhaps in the higher ages we will not be inundated with music everywhere we go. We may be tuning in to our own channels of OM more often.

Once I Opened the door of the car on a secluded highway at nite in Utah. The stars were brite in the sky. There was a deafening silence and out of that silence came the sound of om. When we are receptive we can hear the astral music and the sound of om as it gains amplitude in our practicing the technique of om.

Practicing the om technique has made me more aware of the thin line of separation or veil between the physical and the spiritual realms. At times i may be hearing physical sounds when practicing om at other times there r sounds that become noticeably louder and seem beyond coincidence to b associated with inner sounds of the physical apparatus. Often a slight difference in pressure to the ear makes quite a bit of difference in sounds heard during practice.

Paramahansa Yogananda mentions in SRF lesson  #117: "May the om vibration conjoined with the music of the spheres dispel all your darkness and bring joy and understanding in your heart." I have heard that music of the spheres and now I recognize it's importance.

I am very geared to this technique because it tunes you into the cosmic voice. The talking God comes to soothe the restless spirit with music and the sound of the ocean and wind blowing high in the tress.

Unusual benefits of the Om board! The Om board, when adjusted to proper height helps keep the spine erect. If you have challenges falling asleep during meditation then the board will not hold the weight of your body if you lean over while drowsing. It will slip out from you and you will suddenly be awakened! The Om board is also encouraging and less challenging when practicing the third Kriyas because you do not have to hold your elbows up on your own.
