In retrospect and after many years of being on a spiritual path I recognize how difficult it is to be with people that don't quite understand the practices we are doing and how much they are important to us... for instance; you can be meditating and they might ask you 'didn't you already meditate today?' Perhaps you may be doing a spiritual exercise that you have already done that day. And someone makes a comment about it not realizing that many of us do our practices more then once a day.

This is one of the main reasons spiritual company is so important. Other people who have little or no interest in our spiritual practice can discourage us and occupy us in other activities.
