It seems to me that it is very difficult if not impossible to have a relationship with another human being-be it friendship, romantic or any other type without communication. Kindness in communication and and making an effort at communicating to clear up misunderstandings is a prerequisite for any type of relationship in human relationships. At this state of evolution most of us are not mind readers and if we were we would respect the private thoughts of those around us. So in this sense communication is indispensable.
