Someday there will be nothing but love and
when that day comes there will be perfect
understanding. Until then we remain separated and
love has a longing. Recognizing our own need
for love  is the first step in that understanding.
Until then we only add to our misery by satisfying
our longings with people and situations
that only add to our longing
and disatisfaction. The love we are seeking we
draw to us and the more and more we are aware
of its presence the more our joy increases in
our knowing.  It is  hunting us down and seeking
us out because of our devotion to it.

Love is only painful because it
demands the death of all that we imagine we are.
Love is so much more than our manufactured
concepts. It may not be  either a relationship
or aloness. What makes us so sure that we can
describe it or live it the way we have
imagined itt?  Maybe that is part of the
difficulty we have with experiencing love.
We must be opem to however it
happens to manifest. Yet when we feel its
presence we are ready and willing to follow.
