Steve, objectively, you still do not appear to have overcome the fact with the other devotee. Or maybe you overcame that but want to make things clear with the other devotee. Or you just are looking for a spiritually satisfactory closure. Your posts in the other thread suggest this and I do not say I'm right or wrong, I just say my mind construes those posts as not having really overcome the experience.

Burnt means: branded, signed. It is not necessarily negative. In this life I'll never ever trust friends or other people with money.  Hopefully in future lives as well. Is that a good or bad thing? Yoganandaji thought to be shrewd in business. That's one thing you learn after time. What I'm learmning now is to be able to be detached and maybe saving something of the ast friendship. And, really, I have sometimes evil thoughts which I'm compelled to control and that's a good exercise. Evil thoughts mean thoughts of shooting my friend.
