The human dimension playing out within the Cosmic Motion Picture Show...

Certainly can be mesmerizing,

and rather "hilarious spectacle" at times...

like how much more "over-the-top" can it get, before I wake up !

**********
I agree with a definition I heard -- suffering is 'not getting what we expect'

but more than that...
it is natural to "expect" an outcome -- based on our senses, point of observation, conditions, etc.

What is the real "gotcha" in this human dimesion ?
-- It's the Attachment to a Specific outcome...
that's the way we "set our little selfs up" for getting kicked in the gut !

A Divine Being, fully liberated, but incarnate, may reasonably "expect" and "outcome"...
but when something else manifests,
there is no "side-effect",
no hesitation,
no illusion or pretense --

For while there is a probability, and Laws, there is also Whiggle room !

(and when one dwells in Divine -- all possible outcomes are playing out...)

Cheers....  (me think too many words.... )

It was a pleasant surprise to have you come in to visit today Nomaste and i left plenty of 'whiggle room'  i do believe though that there are side effects or repurcussions for certain lack of responsiveness or action. This i say because we tend to base our actions or responsiveness to others and situations based on whether we get positive or negative feedback. i mean why live out the martyr complex when other situations and people treat us better?
Wouldn't you say this to be true? We can control and work on our reactions and not expect outcomes. However we choose our course of actions by the determining factor of how we are treated by other people and situations that happen in our life. So in that sense we are effected. We can have no demands or expectations yet we still have choices based on on our experiences.
