sometimes we feel as though out spiritual effort is not making any progress. usually we give up when we have made  1 or2 tries. although each action will definitely help us on the spiritual path.
when we plant a tree it is going to be sometimes 5 years before it can come up and manifest.
In the same way our spiritual effort is making progress even though we might not always see it at first.

seems like wandering for years thru the spiritual forest

not quite seeing the path way, too many trees !
