Intereststs; Meditation/Spiritual Life

Hey Steve, I'm sorry you feel you are out of balance. I just enjoyed a beautiful setting sun and have a group meditation later tonight. I will continue to share things I find interesting, political and spiritual. There are plenty of topics to engage yourself here, you don't need to spend your time counting my post, rather... maybe you can find a topic more suited to your temperament? Maybe you shouldn't be so worried about what I post either? I am sharing this because it is pretty big news, and yes, it is worthy of discussion and worthy of making others aware. Plus... Isn't this a thread you have started?

...I also shared, moments before, a channeled message about meditating on peace. Equally important, maybe even more important. I hope you feel the same level of interest to that thread as you do these political ones. As far as I can see, people choose how to spend their time- even if it's just to complain about someone having a different view than their own. There are many threads here with very little interaction. This seems more like a personal problem. I hope you and others feel encouraged to add more content that will help with this feeling of balance and or respond to existing threads that help project the desired image of the portal. Maybe you have been harping too much on trying to make your point, or worrying too much about this image, than actually engaging in topics that interest you? I see things here are fine and well. I am grateful to be a member and add content regularly. I find there are plenty of post discussing both world news and personal life experiences and am finding spiritual nectar from it all.

I wish you the same capability, and I wish you don't feel so obsessed with the things you disagree with. There's so much beauty in this world. And there's a lot of interesting topics here you might find interesting, if you just applied the same amount of time and energy like you had making your post above then I'm confident you'll find something that makes you feel good and not like you are at odds ends with someone online. Or, maybe take time away from the computer. Honestly, being outside in solitude fills me with a type of peace no online forum ever can. I feel like you can post whatever you want and I don't think I'd feel imbalanced because of it.

There was a time, when I took offense to all your anti-Trump rhetoric. That imbalance was from spending too much time online worrying about others. But I feel blessed to say such is not the case anymore. I wish that same feeling of inner peace for every member here. It took realizing that I don't wish to control how others view the world, but to take my disagreements within and learn how to navigate accordingly. To see that, even in our differences, I can still manage to get along with said person or find a solution that means restoring my sense of peace. As you can see, I am not physically assaulting you- I am not harassing you, I am not discouraging you from posting where you want or what you want. I have also created threads that are less political. You have options here. I hope you don't drive yourself crazy.

My sincere regards.
Your Spiritual Brother

Thanks for spending time with six spiritual posts after this last one, and yes I counted them. It is helpful to know how balanced we are in our actions and that awareness at times even needs counting. I count how many Kriya’s i do at a meditation session otherwise I may just do as I feel like it. It also increases my daily practice and helps work off more karma, as well as develops patience in practice. Some people use mantra beads to do so and have something between the beads when they have practiced a certain number. I don’t recall saying I am out of balance, but since you expressed it, I do find that my balance gets disrupted when I’m around people who have little interest in meditation and for instance; more interest in politics. I at times need to remove myself from people, who for instance, enjoy debate or discussion about topics that have little relevance to spiritual progress. It can disrupt my peace and joy if I continue being around restless and angry people.

While it is true I can read what I want here, I do have the responsibility of an administrator, as you do serving in a store and perhaps your job is in part watching and at times service to other employees through helpful suggestions I hope to do the same here, although I recognize that at times people leave because of that. No doubt you too have experienced this at your job as manager of a store. So it is an important topic. The topic has quite a bit of relevance at the previous site mccoy spent time at. So I think it is worth mentioning.
