Actually, now that I take the time to consider the picture fully, it actually looks like the ship is heading into a more ethereal environment. No thunderous rush of water below the edge, no jagged rocks, just a smooth transition into blue space.

Sometimes when I'm being goofy I can sort of bump into spiritual themes. Pretty neat huh?
