i thought i would respond about administrators since someone recently asked on a post. Their (Board Members) most important job here is to cut out the spam posts and mail that comes thru all the time and very rarely somebody will censor something. Believe it or not i never have but sometimes i trust the judgement of those around me (other times i don't but go along with it) even though i would not (censor). So i occasionally change the board settings, patent our domain name and think of new ways to make things spiffy. It also helps a lot if somebody finds new ways to promote us. It has been by word of mouth up to this point.

It was always a mystery to me how people got on the board on other sites and then there r moderators. What for? So far we really have not had to deal with such things.

i try to keep secrets to a minimum here and be open about everything i can. People that come on the board r their since we started as friends or because they have been so involved posting and putting up threads that it just seemed natural to me to have them on the board as well. Someday some of us might not show an interest any more and others will. This has already happened. In this way some will leave and some will climb a board. Hope everything is happy for everyone here if not please tell me by personal message or on the site.

This brings up personal comment i would like to make. i have seen people leave and new people take their place. It is not easy having this happen. For the most part i have never enjoyed going thru these partings. It is usually others that felt some how i clashed with them or that we had incompatibilities. Yet i understand that life changes for us and i try to accept people the way they are even if they feel that they have differences or differences with me. Life has a way of returning what we try to give to others and if that is what we have done we must have faith in that fact.

hi steve
we can be grateful for all those in our life. in tears and joy- whatever happens, happens- you shouldn't feel guilty for being yourself, unfolding and moving a long the path. with love in your heart it doesn't matter- we will come and go, and all the meanwhile- receive what it is we need- if we end up on separate paths- that is what it is- for the individual- it is the right thing. if you don't see it now, just wait and see

this life is a small part of a billion year journey, there's just so much in the long run. i am glad to have had shared time with those in my life that have come and gone- and to feel for them, i've learned from them and with them. if i never see her again, at the very least, i can be grateful. walk in faith, with love for god in your heart- it's all the courage you need to face anything. merry christmas

Liked your quote Eric. It is hard to forgive let go and forget the anger. Yet in all ways we have to overcome the anger and/or resentment. Even though people treat us bad. If u give love in return; You will feel wonderful. Very few people do wrong to others intentionally: They just can't see it.

We should put someone else's feelings before our own. Feel for others even as u feel for yourself.

oh no Steve, let's not get you started on the topic of censoring, lol !  Grin You could probably write a book on it.

I think this forum is very open in many ways, as far as posting and replies... however there are a few words that are just not acceptable in good taste and if I see them here, they will be deleted for the benefit of everyone's reading pleasure .  Smiley

Life is all about people coming and going, sometimes you miss someone, sometimes not  Grin, sometimes it turns out to be a blessing in disguise. Life does go on and new people will enter, sometimes even better than those who have left.

What happens happens, I wouldn't get hung up on the idea of it being because of a clash, or an incompatibility ~ things just happen, and as " everything happens for a reason " or so it is said.... just trust in the unknown reason and let it go

Since when did u come out of the closet my dear entity? 'So it is said' ah ha  and what is the reason for the season? Things just happen O.K. i'll remember that next time we go on a hike & we energize. My reading pleasure has been accentuated many times over since u dropped in. It could b an evening of delights as well! Cheesy i suppose one such as myself should b grateful!  Smiley

i want u to know: u scared away Little Hoot she feels that u clash with her. Is there no compatibility between u two?  Huh? and how about Surrender Kitty? Have u no sympathy for her since she gets no darshans since u have been gone. By the way; i knew that there was a disguise around here because i have sure been blessed! It must b something about 2012 and the Mystical Mayan Cloaks that surrounds everything.

i have a few choice words for u too but for fear of being censored and because i like u too much to tell; i'll b still as a canary.  Tongue But u know if Surrender Kitty gets her meat hooks in me she is not going to let me go. She says she loves me. She loves me and she loves me not-What am i to do?  Cry This forum is an open book Surrender Kitty has got it all figured out!

everything happens for a Reason....we may not understand the why's and such as circumstances unfold....however one day we will.  when this happens....i put my faith & trust in god....god knows what is best for us.

Into Blue Sorry dear one; It is 'Jitendra speak' and Yoshi took up on it. U have been absent from the desk (and we have missed you) too long to know such things.   Embarrassed But i like u anyhow. Smiley  U may not like it but it gives economy to finger strokes. Perhaps Yoshi feels similarly.

Yes i am grateful Into Blue.

About karma (the law of cause and effect in human relationships and life circumstances): Sometimes people have the attitude of 'buttoning up things' and 'karmic debts' other people look at karma with gratitude as an opportunity by grace to open up doors to others. Many of us here tend to favor the latter instead of the former. With a little reflection perhaps all of us agree that our attitudes r a matter of choice but sometimes we do not even recognize the attitudes we have unconsciously subscribed to. This has been my realization. Sometimes it takes a simple kind word, kindly said, to remind us. It often comes from others. This is my intention.

Life has a way of returning what we try to give to others and if that is what we have done we must have faith in that fact. This includes r attitudes. i am certainly happy that i have friends like all those i have encountered here on this site.

Pranams to all concerned;

U r certainly capable of speaking for yourself as are most here Yoshi. It is nice to see u back posting after somewhat of a lengthy break! It appears that u also fit into the category of most of us-that are grateful-happy to hear this. As far as the usage of u and r: 1 can b, 2 will b, 2 are 1 and we r 3! In other words nothing really comes from us anyhow; it is all from spirit. So i relinquish all credit! Besides so far i have been criticized by two board members for using it!

i wrote sometime ago:

It is so good to hear from u. My resolution for this month is to reach out in love to others.

Dear one, I haven't been gone that long  Smiley and I do understand the economy of the fingerstrokes  Grin

however I would have to disagree with you, it has never been  "Jitendra speak" at least as often as you are using it now. I am not critisizing you, just commenting. Sorry for the distraction, going off topic , but it does distract me ... not that it matters  Smiley

so confusing reading all these quotes within quotes, lol !

not so sure I believe in karma or karmic debt ~

Some situations and some people lead us into the labyrinth of the mind. Others lead us out. In this darkness of the mind there is ego and confusion. Which way do u choose? Once u have made the choice it is still not as easy as it seems. i have been working with this challenge my whole adult life. The mind is not an easy thing to control.

Somethings i do may seem a little like a sour thumb. i will try to keep posts to you with the old format.

Criticism or no criticism it is all sweet coming from you Into Blue.

Some people and situations confuse us and others give us peace, love and understanding. Likewise some people bring turmoil to our minds and others give us love and spiritual understanding. It is my wish that we provide the latter on both of these counts for you and all who come here. That is why i wanted to create Spiritual Portal with you and other friends as a possible place that could be a kind of h-OM-e for us all.

Many of us here are very sensitive people and absorb many vibrations that we come in contact with.   We must watch what we put in our mind and who we attract to us. We can only help others according to our present state of consciousness. If we are not careful, after a while we realize that we ourselves have become part of the problem.

Once in while, in moments of transparency of the mind, either in or after meditation, we become a witness of (our) consciousness as a mirror in everything around us; In all the people we are involved with and in the sub creations we have chosen in our actions and thoughts. At these moments there is no blame but only acceptance and a sense of humor over the irony of this cosmic drama that entertains our awareness.

Jitendra
