“Tale of the God Boy Hero”     a poem by Dan Wolfley




     To dream the dream to live the dream, of love of life of people I’ve seen. I meditate, I orchestrate, I pray in church for goodness sake. I killed the beast and armies of trillions with phantom spells for evil children. I’ve traveled to stars and the moon of Titan, but as a small boy though strong unenlightened. I’ve seen angels and saints in dreams and in person, I’ve been to prison for less than cursin.     For love for life I risked my own, gave all I had for happy home. Goblins and demons I’ve seen face to face yet no fear can enter in my humble space. My live I lived an upright noble lad, then darkness came looming and madness so bad. Evildoers lined up, come one come all as I started my journey I saw 2,000 fall, in less than a thousand days as a matter of fact and a combination of spells, the beast came next can you imagine that. When fighting a phantom one must be very careful, a disintegrated body would not be too cheerful.     I meditate in trance, finding holy power within, the greatest joy when it happens again and again. I’ve loved women more beautiful than sun and stars, I’ve earned my keep  name’s whispered in bars. I keep good company and pray to God with heart. I live the dream I dream the dream, I love for love, for God for heart. I speak for truth, for courage for start. I work here and there on this and that, to love the dream to live the dream,  gooday ladies and lads.
