Steve, you're not the only one who, after abuse of caffeine, has found a better mental state without it.
I listened to Navy Seals vets who have completely quit caffeine, after drinking one can after another of Red Bull during operations. Evidently, they noticed some definitely detrimental effects, maybe on the verge of toxicity.

Bottomline, I find your determination commendable.
