Thanks Steve, for sharing the words  by Brother Devananda. Food for thought.

Into Blue

Yea Into Blue i have just noticed that there are people who are making progress in their attitudes and their ability to make life changes as they are thrust on us for our spiritual growth. Sometimes people have all kinds of spiritual experiences but there might not be comparable spiritual progress. Can the right hand watch the left on the spiritual path? Can we learn from life and have spiritual experiences at the same time? The ego manifests in very subtle ways that is what i have noticed. Spiritual phenomena and ego seem to sleep in the same bed. i think we have to have a lot of protection when we sleep in the same bed as with our phenomenal experiences. It seems that the former is much more important in the long term.
