I am an SRF student (though not a kriyaban yet) and a Theosophist. (I know that may sound crazy, but the two are compatible.)

Yes, I think you are a theosophist in the general sense as am I. But I am also a member of the Theosophical Society that is dedicated to studying comparative religion, spiritual philosophy, and paranormal phenomena. Its a very non-dogmatic organization. Although they have a certain body of teachings, one is not required to believe in them.

how cool !!!!!  after highschool....searching for a 'career',,,,i was very interested in the paranormal....but did not go into that field. ..back then, not much was being offered   . 

Theosophical Society....i did not know there was such a thing....veryvery interesting, my interest is peaked  !

To be honest, the Theosophists don't emphasize paranormal research any more, even though that is still part of their official charter. You're better off seeking some other organization.

The most they do now is publish books that include paranormal subjects.

They do have some places in Michigan. You can find out here:
