God....my most favoritie topic 

i believe that many masters have written....that God does not speak in 'audible voice'...such as humans speak to one another.....not including (((OM))) or (((AUM))).

it is more of.....intuitively knowing and then put into 'words in our minds'....like a translation of sorts.  sometimes....for some,,,,they come as pictures....his 'voice' comes in form of visuals.

i suppose it differs from individual to individual 

now...hitler...u say he spoke out of grandeur...yes.  one whom truly speaks to God.....does not speak out of grandeur.  u may find that one who speaks to God....to be quite the opposite. 

God speaks to all souls....not just a few choice Souls. 

what keeps soul from hearing God ?  maya....material world...illusion.  denial that one can do it.  the lack of will to do so.  lack of confidence in self.

be the 'engine that could'....except, instead say to yourself....' i know i can, i know i can'.

maybe first...start by speaking to Parmahansa Yogananda.....Christ....Swami Rama Tirtha...Babaji...Ananda Moyi Ma.....Mother Theresa or Gandhi....etc

Parmahansa Yogananda has written a book called 'How You Can Talk with God'....that's a good read 

God also speaks to us through our surroundings.....nature, animals, people....the circumstances in daily life that we find ourselves in....

(((OM))) (((AUM)))....is audible frequency of God....

another 'thing' i would like to mention , that helps us greatly....is Realizing that we are Souls  and that our Soul is a direct 'spark' or piece of God.....literally.  just as our body is a direct 'piece' of our biological/physical parents.  do not our physical parents speak to us ?  yes, they do.  God speak to us Souls too.....

In actuality God does talk to us in a human voice all we have to do is read the Autobiography of a Yogi to see this is the case many many times. Yet for someone that does not know the life of Paramahansa Yogananda and what he has done in peoples lives, this may also b difficult to accept.

Hallucinations involve sensing things that aren't there while a person is awake and conscious. i think when we listen to others talk of such experiences we have to keep in mind that there is the possibility of this occurring. That possibility also exists within ourselves. If we are not yet enlightened we still have many illusions to contend with. One way that i have personally found some answers is in the experiences themselves. It seems to me the the presence of God is accompanied by a feeling of peace, bliss, love and joy. Any one of these or a combinations can give us more of an assurance that what we have experienced is true. We can also gauge the testimony of others by how they live and how they affect us personally. Although if a person stimulates our illusions it is often difficult to asses the truth or the significance of their assertions. Perhaps it is wise to keep this in mind in all relationships.

Even saints have to endure the test of time for others to recognize there spiritual stature. Some of us r more receptive and recognize that there r people who have saintly attributes and what they have to offer us.... As well as the service we can give to them.
