Hi Eric my point of conversation is to create conversation and hopefully understanding. So in this sense we r  successful. i do not think that we r going to agree about everything and i do not agree with you on everything u have said. Yet i can still appreciate u and your contribution. i would agree with most of your description of what makes a saint. But to what degree is another matter. It would b difficult to talk about emotionally charged relationships clearly.

i still think that there is a very valid confidence that comes with hearing words that cannot b confused with our own perceptions and hunches. 'in possibilities within possibilities communication exceeds but does not deny spoken word as divine experience' This statement is very true to me but may not b understandable when describing these experiences to others. i worked in a mental institution for years. When some of the clients spoke of their conversations with God i had to look at their actions to see how they correlated with the language. There is a lot of incongruity there. If i was to listen to the experiences that they had of communication that exceeded spoken word it would have even been more difficult to differentiate as truth.  We r probably aware of the fact that we r surrounded by all kinds of mental conditions in others and sometimes the sanity of those that were apart of the sanatorium made more sense to me then the people assumed to b normal.

It is very difficult to accept as truth many peoples inner experiences with God. We could easily see that Adolf Hitlers conversations with the divine were delusions of grandeur. "Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."

 Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf,

hi jitendra
---
thank YOU for your contribution   Grin
in possibilities within possibilities communication exceeds but does not deny spoken word as divine experience
todays message from bowl of saki says, "every moment has its special message."
---

its true and often i later realize my ways are selfish or childish
but i find nothing wrong with communicating between heaven and earth- between God, desire and ego- imagination. to me this is all a part of the life process. i think as long as we are Being- we are having direct and special conversations with God.
---
on saintliness. there are people that devote their life to a greater understanding and the progress they make or service provided is worthy of praise and gratitude
but what makes a saint anyways?
pursue your heart and dance with creation- do that and i'll call you a saint. i think your heart plays a big role in service with/towards all existence(my moms a saint. i don't care if you or anyone else thinks otherwise.)
---
god speaks to us through feelings too, even when our minds can not cognize the situation.
well
interesting thread thank you
