God....my most favoritie topic 

i believe that many masters have written....that God does not speak in 'audible voice'...such as humans speak to one another.....not including (((OM))) or (((AUM))).

it is more of.....intuitively knowing and then put into 'words in our minds'....like a translation of sorts.  sometimes....for some,,,,they come as pictures....his 'voice' comes in form of visuals.

i suppose it differs from individual to individual 

now...hitler...u say he spoke out of grandeur...yes.  one whom truly speaks to God.....does not speak out of grandeur.  u may find that one who speaks to God....to be quite the opposite. 

God speaks to all souls....not just a few choice Souls. 

what keeps soul from hearing God ?  maya....material world...illusion.  denial that one can do it.  the lack of will to do so.  lack of confidence in self.

be the 'engine that could'....except, instead say to yourself....' i know i can, i know i can'.

maybe first...start by speaking to Parmahansa Yogananda.....Christ....Swami Rama Tirtha...Babaji...Ananda Moyi Ma.....Mother Theresa or Gandhi....etc

Parmahansa Yogananda has written a book called 'How You Can Talk with God'....that's a good read 

God also speaks to us through our surroundings.....nature, animals, people....the circumstances in daily life that we find ourselves in....

(((OM))) (((AUM)))....is audible frequency of God....

another 'thing' i would like to mention , that helps us greatly....is Realizing that we are Souls  and that our Soul is a direct 'spark' or piece of God.....literally.  just as our body is a direct 'piece' of our biological/physical parents.  do not our physical parents speak to us ?  yes, they do.  God speak to us Souls too.....
