Nomaste Lucky; i saw her the first year she was there. No one expected the turnout she received and the police had to come to stop people from going into the building. The parking lot was filled with people trying to get in. Hopefully they have found a larger area for her this year. There r many people who r receptive to her spiritual vibrations in your area. So i suppose u live near Toronto?

Hi Celia i hope to see Amma on her last day in Los Angeles perhaps i cna meet u. i plan on going with Nomaste to see her in San Ramon.

Security

Most people search for security. There is internal and external security. External security is for food, shelter, health and a stable income. In a blink of an eye everything including friends and money can be taken away. In reality all our security is internal. Even when we have everything to be secure in and external sense we are like a bird in a cage. A bird in a  cage can get food and a place to live but it does not have freedom.... even when we have external freedom we still  will have fear. Brooding about the past is like living with the dead and if we continue to worry about the future we will never experience peace. We are like someone sleeping near a snake hole. We never know when that snake will come out and bite us. This is how we are living with fear. We must look more towards inner security that God will give us.

i received a lovely letter from Nomaste2all that includes Amma's story about carrying to much luggage. i would like to share it...

 ... may our moments be filled with a calming vibrance...
 
... may our Activity be gently, sublimely, observed as radiant flow...  Activity merely floating as a little sphere within the great Chitta (Divine) Heart Ocean...
 
... no longer shall we accept to shrink and condense to little sphere of (artificial light) Ego realm...

There is a story of a man on train.
 
This man was holding his baggage over his head, and walking anxiously up and down the train cars.  After many hours observing the man's peculiar behavior, a stranger asked the man why he was carrying his baggage.   The man replied, "I must get my baggage to the destination!"   The stranger smiled gently, with a loving heart, and said, "Dear Sir, you may set your baggage down and it will arrive safely."    The man did not sound convinced and looked puzzled.   The stranger continued, "The train is carrying you, me, and all of our baggage. Your efforts are only adding to your burden of travel.  We and our baggage shall all arrive via this train at our intended destination."    The man awakened, set down his baggage, and enjoyed being free of it's weight and burden.
 
Likewise, we need to consider to set down our baggage...?  Existence is like the train, and shall carry both us and our baggage !   This does not mean we toss our baggage off the train, but rather we are perfectly safe to set our baggage down... get out of the way, and stop wasting energy ? !
When it is time, we will know to pick up the baggage to carry it, unpack it, or give it away ?

A beggar found a coin and gave it to a guard. The guard gave it to the King. The King wanted to know who gave this coin to the guard and wanted to talk to him about it. The King asked the Beggar; Why did you not sell the coin. The beggar replied. I could have made some money from the coin but it was old and reflected the heritage of our country. The King was impressed by his answer and decided to make him head of his treasury department. But the treasurers complained that he was stealing from the treasury. The King wondered y he would want to steal anything so he watched him from a secret place. He found that he did indeed bring a bag in the vault. However he pulled out of his bag his begging clothes and put them on. He said to himself "Old man remember who you were and what you have today you may not have tomorrow." The King came down from his hiding place and begged forgiveness from the old man and found out it was the treasurers who falsely accused him who took the money. Since the king did not have a successor he appointed the beggar to b his successor as King.
