https://www.christianity.com/wiki/jesus-christ/did-jesus-meditate.htmlIt is obvious that many Christian’s have a very limited understanding of what meditation is, and obviously 🙄 did not explore it further than their own preconceptions. Since the definition of meditation by only ounce source shows no effort to truly find out it’s meaning and practice.
Is that statement limited to Western Christians? Because, if it is...
As I said above; It is obvious that many Christian’s have a very limited understanding of what meditation is, and obviously 🙄 did not explore it further than their own preconceptions. Since the definition of meditation by only one source shows no effort to truly find out it’s meaning and practice. Thanks for the video. I plan on watching it more than once. There appears to be a time when meditation and prayer merge into one. There is very little that can be described in absolute terms. Meditation and prayer included.
“I protest by my rejoicing in Jesus Christ. I die daily”
~St. Paul
1 Corinthians 15:31 Context
28And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. 29Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead? 30And why stand we in jeopardy every hour? 31I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. 32If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die. 33Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. 34Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
