I think I saw in a video you posted by Amma how the devotee can gain revelation from a single word spoken by a master.
I found my self researching the esoteric meaning of the Three Magi- ended up being pulled back to Melchizedek.
Stumbled across this gem you might find interesting.
(i) Melchizedek and Biblical Root Meanings Introduction
Melchizedek and Biblical Root Meanings : In this article we will look at words in the Bible and demonstrate that by breaking down the parts of the name and looking at their Hebrew derivatives, we can come to a deeper understanding of what that word was supposed to mean esoterically in the context of the Bible. We will be looking at Melchizedek in detail as he will be the focus of two upcoming articles.
Words we will look at in this article are :
1. Melchizedek
2. Jerusalem
3. Jesus
4. Heli (grandfather of Jesus)
So books such as the one on the left are very useful in finding english equivalents of Hebrew root words in the Bible. We can therefore break names down such as Melchizedek into its parts and find out what the name represents. We can do this for other words in the bible such as Jerusalem which we will demonstrate in this article.
Before looking at our first word Melchizedek, we will look briefly at ‘dark matter’
One of the biggest conundrums in modern astronomy is the fact that over 90% of the Universe is invisible. This mysterious missing stuff is known as ‘dark matter‘. This dark matter was really important, as if it wasn’t there then galaxies would fly apart as they spun round.
(ii) Melchizedek and Root Meanings through Scripture Analysis
1. MELCHIZEDEK
We will see how dark matter relates to the biblical character MELCHIZEDEK.
The following verse introduces him:
Hebrews 7 : 3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
Abideth a priest continually = always in connection with spirit, again confirming he is not human as his existence is eternal
having neither beginning of days nor end of life = God always is and always has been
From the above verse Melchizedek is obviously not of human form. Even when we consider the previous verse to this:
Hebrews 7: 1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
In biblical symbolism:
Kings of the earth = thoughts of the mind.
7.2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
King of peace = silence found in meditation where we are free from thought.
So after the thoughts of the mind are dealt with and silenced you meet the universal energy of Melchizedek
Abraham gave a tenth = a tenth is the left material side or tithing
Tithing was associated with him & he was made out to be someone human:Picture showing the Meeting of Abraham and Melchizedek — (by Dieric Bouts the Elder, 1464–67). However we can clearly see that the scripture above does NOT make him out to be a man !
