Gentle reminders in the nite
Wake and tell us our dreams
sitting alone in the dark
weaving thought out of tears
cool waters in the spring
sunny days in the autumn
memories to remind us of life
opal blue shining lite
a carousel spinning in my mind
the jet lag that brought me to you
there high in the clouds before i land
is it something in the future that i see?
just one more soft enticing dream
dear friend it is so nice when you are near
must my thought of you disappear?
new warmth comes once again
but leaves at dawn with out a sound
come closer now share your heart
i am near yet have i left this body?
have i gone too a place where you take me?
When will you come again and release all my fears?
Does morning come with light?
and how will i know when to go and when to stay?
When love comes in such unusual ways
i sit here thoughts now still
no questions to leave unresolved
all riddles pass with no sound
it is morning now and i have gentle reminders of you
to fill my heart in unusual ways
