in search of all that is, was and will be

Each day you wake up is a miracle, a new dawn, a new beginning. Time for forgiving yourself and others. Time to be thankful for the blessings you have received and will receive. Wake up and start your day with a smile, and others will smile back at you !  Smiley

Each day is really much like a new lifetime...

..... to learn to "be in the world, but not a part of it".   We hear this from Jesus Christ, and Bhagavan Krishna... and many other saints...  this is an easy concept on some layers, but a continual striving to reach the finer, subtle, states...

*******

the ancient rishis (seers), the great ones, saints and sages have discovered simple, subtle truths and practices that lead us to evolve to gradually exhibit conscious control over the involuntary nervous system and organs.  it is in this manner, that we hear of the references of "I rejoice in Christ (consciousness), I die daily", and other references that hint at the expression of grace we MAY reach by God's loving grace... to be able to consciously observe the workings of the enlivening inter-workings of the physical, astral, causal, and spirit realms...  for the physical body to still, yet be sustained...  in this manner a great graced yogi may expand...

we little ones strive, and see glimmers of these truths, as a mist is blown away and parted for a bit, we have glimpses... eventually we learn how to quiet and be in the world (fully functioning outwardly), yet be evermore pulled in later years towards the undivided experiences, with potential grace of mahasamadhi (final conscious exit from the physical garb).

Nomaste it is wonderful to become one with your thoughts Namaste2All. My radio waves are attuning themselves to you dear friend. But what do others have to grab on to experience and reach these finer, subtle states? They must look for the spiritual technology which induces these experiences. For this they need to find the help of a guru who can teach such things as the iam and kriya techniques. We are much blessed to have them and it is in our interest to make use of them. The potential is there but the seeker often stops along the way for entertaining spiritual scenery while missing the taste of the juicy fruits that lie on the trees of fortune.

Thank you for your most comprehensive contribution namaste2ALL. This will take some time to sift thru all that you have shared.

Quite a thought you have there " each day is really much like a new lifetime ", almost a bit overwhelming in nature, considering there are only 24 hours in a day.

I have heard this other quote before " be in the world, but not a part of it " . Have you tried this ? Not that easy to do at times. One can be a silent observer, here physically , not really here in thought.... but what is the purpose of this ? I think I need to re- read this part of your commentary. It is like living in two places at once, in the physical, yet focused on the spiritual, so on the edge of both worlds ?

Jitendra, I have heard much talk here of the benefits of having a guru and learning an assortment of techniques from them. Do you not think, a person should enjoy the spiritual journey and what they experience along this path of enlightenment and not just to rush towards the goal  while missing out on the blessings along the way ? It is like taking a walk in autumn, and not enjoying the beauty and the sounds of fall, but rushing thru the woods to get to the pumpkin pie and hot apple cider ~ translating from a spiritual example to an earthly one, but same meaning.

There are many more beautiful places beyond this earth with dazzling rainbow rivers, seasons that change that bring beautiful snow that does not melt into messy puddles. Places where we can meditate and enjoy the beauty of nature without mosquitoes and biting flies and snakes that incur suffering if we by accident get in their way. There are astral realms where music is heard coming out of the ether.

These little pleasures are O.K. that you speak of.....although when we can possess the universe why should we satisfy ourselves with only a solitary walk through nature? Why should we be forced by material desires to come back to this earth?

There is no apple cider or pumpkin pie where i am speaking of but rather the ambrosia of bliss and the nectar of the Gods to satisfy our taste buds. The ever new bliss of joy the all caressing and expanding heart feeling of love.

The gardener soon comes to till the plants. The harvest is ready and i for one want to be there where life is sweet and death a dream. Where joy is sweet and sorrow a dream.....

Quite a thought you have there " each day is really much like a new lifetime ", almost a bit overwhelming in nature, considering there are only 24 hours in a day.

I have heard this other quote before " be in the world, but not a part of it " . Have you tried this ? Not that easy to do at times. Spirit fox

I could edit more to read clearer, but they are simply words... (ha, joke is on (me / us) ego -  words are inadequate and humbling is healthy for spirit)...

The key of concept may be to consider... (but this is just exercise, to shake loose, so things may maybe settle back in different view)....    TIME (Change) and SPACE (Division) are not firm reality...they are a flexible fabric largely variable in form based on our "perspective".      Consider, we do not have to be in one place or the other, they are not seperate at all.   Let's consider little story, observation...    Go to flowing stream,  we look and point to mid-stream and say "look there is the drop of water"... but alas, then in the unfolding moment joke is on us... drop is then downstream...  then drop flows from river into lake, or into ocean, drop becomes as vapors to sky, then raindrop and fall to earth, and back into stream...  so now drop is upstream ? !   But the stream is not JUST and ONLY a bunch of drops is it ?   Isn't it ALSO SIMILTANEOUSLY one flowing undivided stream...?     hmmnnnn....

************

the great ones speak of state of "being" in the "unfolding moment"...  the past, present, and future are but like drops, yet they may view the flow of stream as well.    relaxing hold... letting flow...    we could (or not) also blunder into the quantaum physics paradoxes that are similar - and very science based...   both a wave and a particle... how can that be ?   it is in the act of "observation"...   ?   Hmmnn....

In expanding consciousness that this little one has observed, consistent pattern emerges...   a more conscious awareness of workings of gross physical body occurs -- while slow by slow little evidences appear of a more subtle, finer body "realm" just beneath... and seems that realm is the stuff of wonder...  for going there is like viewing the stream, yet also being able to view the drop(s)...

it seems entirely reality, that we need not become absent minded, or stop performing our duties at work or home... or even be apparent to others of our being in the "stream".    We are not giving up anything...   instead, we find there is a "cooling" of body and mind -- a harmonizing, or tuning.    We from time to time, may nearly witness words coming out, and not be attached to them at all...  and they are not babble, we find that the function of world work is really on a great groove, not to detriment at all.     Let's see, have you ever performed much practice at a sport, or a specific activity... you may even leave it behind for many weeks or years...  well for some golden moment have you ever observed that you're just "in the zone"... like wow, is this me ?   I'm kicking...  ?     Kinda like that... but so much greater a groove....  This is why Jesus Christ said, "Seek Ye First the Kindgdom of God, and all else shall be added unto you."...     It is our illusion that there is division...

each must find directly the reality and unreality and how they mirror and joke and poke at us in fun...

We do not so much TRY to make the state occur... we simply follow our path as shown by Chitta (Heart, Nucleus)... and then whoosh the breeze is upon us (in grace)... so seems ?  Do we know whither the breeze comes, or whither it goes ?  Only that it is upon us...      Same is of this state... yet as heart enters propelled states and further, and divisions are shown by direct experience to be "artificial creations of our confined thought patterns"... we find we are in the stream (the superset that is also the drops)...

Earth's "air" is a medium for ions charged by the solar particles, but also a medium for heavy metals and toxins... yet is the "air" as essence changed ?    It still has same basic molecular composition of gases...  this is like the finer realm...   and the pollen, or diesel fume, or smoke like the gross realm...  {{ poor parallel, but trying to play a game to shift mind pattern... maybe see something... visualize is not always imagination run amok, it also refers to true insight...  this true insight cannot be taught...}}  We may be shown ways to filter out pollen, smoke from air (even for a bit)... and then we see the pure essence of "air"...     Likewise, over time, the yogi devotee expands and the breaks in between the "clearing" are shorter...  by grace of Infinite Beloved, by grace...  for a yogi that is robot may gain all the powers of the Universe, yet find the Divine allusive and playing hide and seek...   Heart, Compassion, Love... Humility, these are the magnets...

namaste, and pleasant dreams...   when we awake to find ourself encased in physical form (again) in the morning...  consider, where was I,  what am I doing again in this body...   how did I "leave it behind" and move in those dreams at night... it is just a little hint... then consider, isn't it possible, that we may consciously control the body to enter an "expansive" realm that is super awake ?   like a stream that contains drops of waking world, and drops of sleeping world as well ....  and why can't we be in all at once, or can we, or are we already ?    hmmmnnn....

SATCHITANANDA
ExistenceConsciousnessBliss

hmmmmmnn!  You ol' fart anyhow. This humble one needs time to chew her cud and make sense of all this. If that don't give you the tickles!
