Still waiting for Anne's response. Should modern society keep one alive when it is time due to leave? This question involves much more than taking a life. Sometimes it involves the ethics of prolonging a life and whether this is natural. i remember the story of Master prolonging the life of a deer by his prayers. He realized that he had made a mistake and that the soul of the deer was being held back by staying. In ancient Egypt human beings went into temples and left the body naturally when it was no longer fit to carry out physical routines.
