i'm constantly being reminded of intuition or patience in some way or another

what is intuition? what are some useful practices to further develop ones psychic potential? what about practicing patience?

I have seen that it is important to practice patience when we are not sure of something. Sometimes we have an instant hunch about something and we go with it. At other times we have to wait and let more information come in to properly asses a situation or person. But through meditation our intuition is sharpened and there comes this time when we get this feeling that something or someone is good for us or this feeling that something will turn out very challenging or even dangerous if we continue in a certain direction or pathway.
