For me personally I can't think of really understanding life and this reality without meditation. Meditation begins to show us what and who we really are; not who we imagine ourselves to be. Meditation helps us to get to a place where we can really pray since it helps disolve restlessness. Meditation helps us get in touch with the great ones so we can get spiritual help. Meditation helps us understand ourselves, the people around us and this plain of existance where we currently find ourselves.
