BREAKING: SHOCKER! Nearly HALF of Americans say Benjamin Netanyahu should be arrested while he's in the United States, new poll finds!

A new Economist/YouGov poll vividly illustrates that American opinion has shifted dramatically against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with 49 percent saying the United States should arrest him if he is in the country under the International Criminal Court's warrant accusing him of war crimes.

The survey also found that 47 percent of Americans believe Netanyahu is guilty of war crimes in Gaza, compared with 24 percent who do not. Even among Republicans, nearly one in four said he should be arrested, while 19 percent of self-identified MAGA supporters said they believe he is guilty of war crimes.

The findings come as the ICC warrant continues to follow Netanyahu wherever he travels. The court accuses him of intentionally targeting civilians and using starvation as a weapon of war, allegations his government denies.

Netanyahu acknowledged this week that the warrant weighs on his mind. During an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, he was asked what would happen if a medical emergency forced his plane to land in a country that recognizes the ICC.

"I think about it," Netanyahu replied. "We have special forces..."

Neither the United States nor Israel recognizes the ICC's authority, making an arrest on American soil highly unlikely.

But the new poll suggests many Americans have already reached their own conclusion.

Nearly half say Netanyahu should be arrested if he is in the United States, and nearly the same number believe he has committed war crimes.
