We shouldn’t forget that all our gifts have been given by God.

There was a farmer who owned much land and had many helpers. He had been gone for sometime and upon arriving back he was greeted with garlands of flowers and fresh coconut juice.

But among those who gave such gifts some had ego and thought they were giving gifts of their own. But they were giving him flowers in the garlands that came from the farmers flower gardens and coconuts from the farmers trees.

In the same way we should realize that we give the gifts that are God’s not ours. Everything comes from the giver and the posessor of all.
