The interesting thing about the ascendent is that it is the most personal part of the chart. It is on the far left hand side of the chart and represents what was coming over the eastern horizon at the time of birth. On your chart Nomaste, we have Saturn rising (on the Ascendent) at the time of birth. So you see Uranus will also aspect or go over Saturn while it transits your ascendent. Recently you have had a much more idealistic view of your life and your values associated with others. You have started the process of incorporating the ideas of others in your own life. This is signified by Uranus making a trine (120 degress) angle to your natal Neptune in the 8th house. It has given you a more sensitive appraoch to others and their concerns while awaking yourself to a higher spiritual level in the process.

Where Saturn resides is where we have chosen to learn karmic lessons and to work them out. You see you have chosen to have people at different ages in your environment through out your life. Often certain hardships are noted with these karmic situations. You have decided to take on a kind of mentor role to others and this will no doubt manifest more and more in the later years of your life.

Where Saturn resides is also where we are somewhat set in our ways and when Uranus comes along and touches off Saturn we find that the way we have traditionally dealt with our personal life and environment becomes disrupted by people and personal new attitudes that you incorporate in your life. If you are stuck in the mud about your way of looking at reality you will find this time very challenging. i think the interesting thing about astrology is that it for warns you of unfolding events yet to happen. In this sense we will look at the role of Uranus in your life. As Uranus gets closer and closer your awakening sense of intuition on such matters becomes more apparent: Especially if you are receptive to the harmony of the heavens and the release of such energies. When you have a desire to be free and liberated the tension can build and perhaps you are beginning to be aware of this. There is insecurity in any big changes in life and risks are something that Saturn does not take well to. But when Uranus comes along it is a totally different energy and and breaks down the walls and defence mechanisms associated with our traditional view of reality. People and situations now start occuring in your life that awaken you to new soul potentials. The axis of the chart represents evolutionary leaps of the soul when associated with planetary energies like those of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Thes planets rarely if ever reach these ponts in your chart and when they do they are significant. In the case of uranus: A Uranian year equals 84 Earth years. So for most people it will not completely rotate around their chart in a life time. Uranus rotates once every 17 hours and 14 minutes, which makes its day shorter than an Earth day. But Uranus's rotation is more unusual than any of the other planets: It does not spin like a top, but appears to roll on its side like a ball. This is because, at sometime in the early years of the solar system, a planet-sized object struck Uranus and knocked it on its side. So you see anything and everything that is associated with this planet is different than the other planets and it manifest as a different set of circumstances that now manifest in your life with a different way of dealing with such events.

If we hold on to the past we can manifest our tensions in our own bodies and this can result in dis-eases to the body. To relax and flow with the changes is the best way to deal with this aspect; Knowing and trusting in the universal order of things and that there is a purpose and plan in your new found sudden awakenings to higher potentials yet to be incorporated in your life. This could very well result in a sudden departure from old ways of dealing with lifes 'realities'.
