Looking for the right conditions

I must admit that many times I’m looking for the right conditions or environments to meditate in. When many times in life we just have to practice and practice at what we want to do and achieve. We just have to place ourselves in meditation and practice our techniques with as much devotion as we can well up, and leave the rest to God and Guru.

It is the same for people we meet. We can only continue talking and attempting to be friends until we realize the rest is up to them. We cannot force issues. We can only improve ourselves and our efforts.

It is not just outer environment that helps meditation. Often times we find that lingering worries and intruding thoughts of what we have to get done also intrude on the landscape of meditation experience. Being free of lingering worries is part of the actual progress associated with meditation.
