In language we come in contact with the consciousness of those around us. Through what they say and how it is being said, as observers, we learn much about the spirit they possess and express.

True, even though language is a very imperfect means of expression. It gives rise to so many misunderstandings. Verbal language especially, written language less so, although it's not perfect either.
