Time Brings all things to Perfection

We are told by the Masters that we are deluded by our conceptions of time. In the higher ages we are told we will not only have mastery of space which is now starting to happen in the dawn of the Dwapara Yuga, but we will also have mastery over time. It is difficult to think in this manner, when we have been conditioned all our lives to follow schedules and conform to the norms of social etiquette and responsibility be being ‘on time’.

In man’s slow trek toward Realization of his divinity and his consequent escape from the “wheel of life” which Ezekial saw in his vision, and which the Buddha described, time is one of the essential factors. On this ground we are justified in believing that the equinoctial cycles follow a spiral pattern, and cycle and that each cycle sees humanity advance beyond the previous cycle. The ancient Greeks had this thought in mind when they assigned the golden age to Cronus, Saturn, Planetary god of time, since Time Brings all things to perfection.

Tara Mata Also explained that yugas have their characteristic influence on the individual lifecycle of each man as well; thus in the infancy of man, physically helpless, and mentally undeveloped, corresponds to the Kali Yuga, when man is the dependent of nature. The Unfolding powers of reason and the eager idealism of youth is the Dwapara Yuga of the lifecycle of an individual, while the ripe powers of maturity are expressed in his Treta Yuga. Wisdom and compassion, the hard-won gifts of old age, correspond the Satya or the golden age of Man, about which the poet so beautifully sang:

“Grow old along with me,
The best is yet to be
The last of life,
for which the first was made.”
