That's very kind Steve and it is a unique observation on your part- something to cherish for sure. We're blessed to have Kelly involved with the forum.
Yes, many people and things in life help others and nourish the community that are not given a permanent place in the lives of others. That does not mean they were not successful in the larger picture of helping others. We can gain much by the perspective that what most ‘normal’ people spend their money and time on may serve little to no purpose in the higher scheme of universal understanding and helping a community.
At times we also may find people and things (animals pets and circumstances included!) snatched out of our lives which seems unfair. However such people may have made their statement and have a higher calling somewhere else. We often need to recognize that each moment with such people is valuable and can be taken away at a moments notice. I have personally gained a valuable lesson from this loss of others who play an important role in our lives; never underestimate the value of the moments of our life.
It’s best to express appreciation for the grace of having them in our life and wish them well where they have gone. It is even possible that though they have left the shores of this life they may take the effort to bless us once again from the great beyond. This I also have seen happen.
